Bayern Munich won their 20th German league title and a back-to back League-Cup double.
Bayern secured their 20th league title on Saturday with a draw against Kaiserslautern.
Hamburg SV the closest team to have a chance to catch Bayern lost 4-2 to Hertha Berlin on
last Saturday.
Bayern Munich are the first side to successfully defend a Bundesliga and German Cup double.
They won their second German cup in a row after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 in the Cup
final.
Werder Bremen gained direct qualification into the Champions League and 2nd place in the Bundesliga on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Hamburg. Miroslav Klose scored to make it 2-1. Also I would watch out for Klose during the World Cup next month. He is someone to watch out for on the German team. Klose was also the Bundesligas top scorer with 25 goals.
Only Leverkusen's Berbatov came close to Klose's 25 with 21 goals. Hamburg were in second coming into the game and now have to qualify for the Champions league threw the third round of Champions League qualifying.
Kaiserslautern could have stayed up but with a win over Wolfsburg but only drew 2-2 and went down just one point behind Wolfsburg.
Teams going down Bundesliga 2: Kaiserslautern, Köln and Duisburg
Teams coming up to the Bundesliga: VfL Bochum, TSV Alemannia Aachen and FC Energie Cottbus
Moves:
Lukas Podolski asks for a transfer to Bayern Munich from his now relegated Köln. Bayern and Podolski have already had talks now Bayern need to reach a agreement with Köln.
Everyone knows Michael Ballack is headed out of Bayern to Chelsea. Ballack was not given a warm reception by the Bayern fans in what is probably his last game for Bayern Munich. So in his last game for Bayern he scored. Bayern drew 3-3 with Borussia Dortmund on the last day of Bundesliga action.
